Commercial Glazing Fabrication Services in DFW & Surrounding Areas

Precision Fabrication Built for Storefront and Curtainwall Glaziers

Professional Fabrication Support for Commercial Glaziers

The Metal Shop Behind the Storefront and Curtainwall Crews

TriPoint Fabrication is based in Cedar Hill, Texas, and we work with commercial glaziers across the DFW metroplex and beyond. We are not a glazing contractor. We are the fab shop the glaziers call when they need brake metal closures, custom flashings, sub-sills, column covers, and structural anchor components, cut, formed, and finished on a schedule that aligns with their install dates.

If you run a commercial glazing company, a glass shop, or a curtainwall crew, you already know the pain of waiting on a fabricator who treats your job like a side project. Our shop is built around the opposite. Commercial glaziers are one of our core repeat customer groups, and the work we do for them has to fit the first time, match the architectural drawings, and be ready when the install crew shows up. We deliver in stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, and the architectural finishes most commonly used on commercial buildings.

13 Years of Expierence

We know our market because we work in it.

Most of our business is repeat work from commercial clients who have learned that a shop they can actually reach, on a project that actually delivers on time, is worth more than the cheapest bid. What that means for you is simple. When you send us a print, you get a real quote back fast. You get a real shop foreman who answers the phone. You get a finished part that fits the first time. Our welders carry AWS and ASME certifications, and we are actively pursuing ISO 9001 certification to formalize the quality systems we already run day to day.

Why Glaziers Choose TriPoint Over a General-Purpose Shop

Benefits of Working with a Dedicated Commercial Glazing Fabricator

Plenty of fab shops in Texas can cut and form metal. The reason commercial glaziers keep coming back to us has more to do with how the shop runs than with any one piece of equipment:

Shop drawings get read carefully

If we see something that does not look right, we call you before we cut, not after.

Tolerances hold across the job

Part one and part one hundred come off the laser and brake the same way.

Schedule commitments are honest

We quote a lead time we can actually hit, and we tell you up front if a job needs more time.

One point of contact across the job

Cutting, forming, welding, and finishing all take place in the same shop under the same project lead.

Repeat work is welcome

If you are bringing us a couple of loads of material per week, that is exactly the customer relationship we are built for.

Storefront, Curtainwall, and Architectural Glazing Across DFW

The Commercial Buildings Our Glazier Clients Work On

The fabrication work we do for the glazing trade ends up on commercial buildings of every kind across DFW and surrounding North Texas. Our glazier clients install curtainwall, storefront systems, and architectural glazing on office buildings and corporate campuses; retail storefronts and mixed-use developments; schools and universities; restaurants and bars; healthcare and hospitality buildings; and industrial, office, and flex space.

We do not work on shower glass, residential storefronts, or one-off homeowner projects. Our fabrication capacity is reserved for commercial work, repeat B2B clients, and jobs that come with shop drawings and a delivery schedule.

Commercial Glazing Fabrication FAQ

Commercial glazing is the trade that designs, fabricates, and installs glass and framing systems on commercial buildings, including storefront systems, curtainwall systems, and architectural glazing details on schools, restaurants, and mixed-use developments. TriPoint is not a glazing contractor. We are the fabrication partner commercial glaziers rely on for the metal components that complete those systems.

Storefront systems are installed at the ground floor of a commercial building, framed in aluminum, and designed to span between the floor and a header tied into the building structure. Curtainwall systems hang from the building structure and can run multiple stories, creating a continuous glass facade. Storefront is more common on retail and small commercial buildings; curtainwall is more common on office towers and institutional buildings. Both rely on fabricated metal components (closures, sub-sills, anchors, trim) that we produce for our glazier clients.

Yes. Custom fabrication is most of what we do for the glazing trade. Bring us shop drawings, a sample piece, a photo, or a field measurement, and we will quote the work, recommend the right material and process, and deliver a finished part on the schedule you need.

Commercial glazing systems are installed on office buildings, retail, schools, restaurants, healthcare buildings, hospitality buildings, industrial offices, and mixed-use developments. Any commercial building with significant exterior glass is using some form of storefront, curtainwall, or architectural glazing system, most of which include fabricated metal components we are equipped to produce.

Yes. Commercial glaziers are one of our core repeat customer groups. We serve glaziers, glass companies, and general contractors running glazing scopes across the DFW metroplex and surrounding North Texas, from Tyler in the east to Stephenville in the west, north to Sherman/Denison, and south through Waco toward North Austin.

Aluminum is most common for storefront and curtainwall trim and closures. Stainless steel is used for visible architectural details and corrosion-resistant applications. Carbon steel handles structural anchors, embeds, and back-of-wall components. Architectural sheet metal in various finishes covers visible trim and panels. We work in all four, including prefinished and powder-coated options when a finish-ready component is required.

Storefront, Curtainwall, and Architectural Metal Built to Your Specs

Custom Commercial Glazing Components We Fabricate

The point of working with us is that you get everything from one shop, on one schedule, with one point of contact. The same team cuts your blanks, forms your brake metal, welds your assemblies, and finishes your panels. Most of the work that comes through our shop from glazing contractors falls into a few buckets:

Closures, trim, and flashings for storefront systems

Brackets, anchors, closure pieces, and custom cut components that integrate with curtain wall, storefront, and architectural glazing systems.

Curtainwall closures, sub-sills, and anchor components

Custom sub-sills, water management pieces, sill flashings, and structural anchor brackets for curtainwall systems: tight tolerances on the cut and finish-ready edges out of the laser.

Column covers and architectural metal panels

Architectural sheet metal column covers, fascia panels, soffit closures, and visible trim pieces in stainless, prefinished aluminum, and powder-coated finishes.

Custom brackets, anchors, and structural components

Cut, formed, welded, and finished anchor plates, clip angles, embed plates, and custom mounting hardware that integrates with your glazing system.

Replacement and retrofit pieces

Bring us a sample, a photo with dimensions, or a field sketch, and we can replicate or modify it. We do this regularly for glaziers on tenant improvements and retrofits where original shop drawings are long gone.

Architectural Metal and Fabrication Capabilities

What makes our shop a good fit for commercial glaziers is that we have the equipment and the people to handle the full fabrication package in-house. We also offer commercial powder coating, industrial zinc-rich primer, and transportation as part of our fabrication packages. If your glazing job needs to be finished, painted, primed, or delivered components ready for installation, we can package the entire job under one PO. Your brackets, closures, and architectural components move through one shop on one schedule:

Tight-tolerance cutting on stainless, aluminum, carbon steel, and architectural metals. Clean edges are ready for forming or finishing without secondary cleanup.

Heavier plate work and structural components for anchor plates, embeds, and large-format cuts.

Precision brake forming for closures, flashings, trim, and architectural sheet metal. We hold tight tolerances on long bends and accurately replicate sample pieces.

Custom hole patterns, slot work, and notch detailing for brackets, anchors, and assemblies that need to mate cleanly to your glazing system.

TIG and MIG welding on stainless, aluminum, and carbon steel for assemblies that need to be more than just a cut and formed piece.

Built for Commercial Glaziers and the Trades They Work With

Industries and Customers We Support

Commercial glaziers are one of our core repeat customer groups, but they are not the only ones. We also fabricate for commercial waterproofing contractors, commercial refrigeration installers, commercial roofers (flashings and custom pieces), and architectural metal contractors working on bars, schools, and restaurants. The common thread is that they bring us repeat work, week after week, and they need a fab shop that runs commercial-grade quality on a commercial-grade schedule.

If you are a commercial glazing contractor running curtainwall and storefront installs, a glass company doing commercial work, a general contractor sourcing fabrication for a glazing scope, an architect specifying a glazing detail, or a property developer managing a commercial buildout, we are set up to support your project from shop drawings through finished, delivered components.

Have Shop Drawings, a Sample, or Just a Photo?

The fastest way to get a quote moving is to send us what you’ve got. Upload shop drawings (PDF, DWG, or DXF) straight through our quote form, or snap a photo of the closure, sub-sill, column cover, or trim piece you need and send it over. For retrofit and tenant improvement work where the original drawings are long gone, a clear photo with a few dimensions is often all we need to get started. We’ll review what you send, return a quote and lead time within a business day, and flag any material or detailing recommendations before we cut.
