Precision Brake Metal Fabrication
Tight Tolerances, Repeatable Bends, Parts That Fit the First Time
TriPoint Fabrication runs commercial brake metal and forming work for general contractors, glazing companies, commercial roofers, refrigeration contractors, and architectural builders across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Our press brakes form the flashings, copings, trim, and custom profiles that commercial jobs depend on, formed to the tolerances those jobs actually require.
13 Years of Expierence
We know our market because we work in it.
Most of our business is repeat work from commercial clients who have learned that a shop they can actually reach, on a project that actually delivers on time, is worth more than the cheapest bid. What that means for you is simple. When you send us a print, you get a real quote back fast. You get a real shop foreman who answers the phone. You get a finished part that fits the first time. Our welders carry AWS and ASME certifications, and we are actively pursuing ISO 9001 certification to formalize the quality systems we already run day to day.
Flashings, Copings, Trim, and Custom Formed Components
Applications for Commercial Brake Metal
Brake metal covers a wide range of commercial components. Common applications we form for our clients include:
Flashings
Custom-formed flashings for roofing, waterproofing, and wall assemblies, bent to the field condition.
Copings
Coping caps and systems formed to profile for commercial parapets and roof edges.
Architectural trim
Reveals, closures, and transition trim that finish commercial facades and interiors.
Storefront components
Formed closures, fillers, and trim that tie into commercial storefront systems.
Curtainwall components
Custom-formed pieces that integrate with curtainwall assemblies to glazing contractor specs.
Commercial roofing accessories
Edge metal, gravel stops, and custom-formed pieces for commercial roofing systems.
Why Commercial Contractors Choose TriPoint
Built for Commercial Forming, Not Hobby Work
There are plenty of shops in Texas with a press brake. Here is what commercial contractors tell us makes TriPoint different, and why most of our work comes from repeat customers:
Precision fabrication expertise
Our forming is built around tight tolerances and parts that fit the first time. The cost of a part that does not fit is never the part; it is the install delay, the rework, and the next call you have to make.
Consistent production quality
CNC-controlled forming means part 1 and part 500 match. For contractors running formed components across a long job, that predictability is the point.
Commercial project experience
Our processes, scheduling, and communication are built around the way commercial GCs, glaziers, roofers, and architects actually run a job.
Fast, honest turnaround
We quote fast, schedule realistically, and hit the dates we commit to. We do not pad lead times to play it safe, nor do we chase dates we cannot hold.
Custom fabrication solutions
From a single-formed profile to a full architectural metal package, we adapt our process to your project, not the other way around.
Reliable B2B support
A real person on the phone, a real foreman on your job, and real updates when something changes. We want to be the shop you call for the next job, and the one after that.
Commercial Brake Metal FAQ
Commercial Contractors We Form Brake Metal For
Industries We Serve
TriPoint brake metal shows up on commercial buildings, in industrial facilities, and across the projects that keep North Texas building. The common thread is contractors who need formed metal that fits the first time, on a schedule they can build around.
Commercial Glazing Contractors
Custom brake metal, closures, trim, and formed components that integrate with storefront and curtainwall systems. We work to glazing contractor specs and the tolerances those systems require, and our focus here is commercial glazing work.
Commercial Roofing Companies
Coping, fascia, edge metal, and custom flashings formed to spec and ready for the field. Our brake operators understand the details of commercial roofing and produce parts that install cleanly the first time.
General Contractors
Formed metal packages for commercial buildouts, coordinated to your schedule, and built to the architectural drawings. One fabricator handles the brake metal scope, so you are not chasing pieces from three vendors.
Commercial Waterproofing Contractors
Formed terminations, custom flashings, and transition metal that integrate with commercial waterproofing assemblies. We coordinate with your installers on the details that have to work in the field, not just on paper.
Commercial Refrigeration Companies
Stainless steel panels, trim, and formed components for commercial refrigeration installs and walk-in cooler and freezer builds, formed for a tight, clean fit-up.
Architectural Construction Projects
Custom-formed architectural metal for facades, interiors, and feature elements, fabricated from drawings to finish-grade standards, where every piece is visible.
CNC Press Brake Forming for Complex, Repeatable Profiles
CNC Brake Metal Capabilities
Modern commercial forming runs on CNC press brakes, and that is what the shop is built around. CNC brake metal forming maintains consistent bend angles and dimensions across a production run, so part 1 and part 500 come off the brake the same way. CNC handles precision, but the operator makes setup and tooling decisions. Our brake operators know how to sequence bends, choose tooling, and account for material springback so the formed part lands on dimension the first time. For commercial contractors who need predictable parts on a schedule, repeatability is the value.
CNC press brake technology
Programmable back gauges and tooling setups that hold tight bend tolerances and repeat them reliably across volume.
Complex bends and profiles
Multi-break parts, tight radii, hems, and offset profiles formed in sequence, including pieces that would take several setups on manual equipment.
Consistent forming accuracy
Once a part is programmed and proven, every piece in the run matches the first article, and that consistency carries straight through to a clean install.
High-volume production and custom runs
Whether your job is a long run of identically formed components or a short run of custom profiles, our process scales to the work without losing accuracy.
Stainless, Aluminum, Carbon Steel, Galvanized & Architectural Metals
Materials We Form & Fabricate
If your project calls for a specific alloy, gauge, or finish, talk to us before you commit. We source through established supplier relationships and can advise on the right material for the forming application. We form the materials commercial and industrial projects call for, in the gauges and finishes that show up most often in commercial work:
Stainless Steel
Food service, refrigeration, architectural, and corrosion-resistant applications where finish and fit matter.
Aluminum
Architectural panels, lightweight formed components, and brake metal where weight or appearance drives the spec.
Carbon Steel
Structural components, brackets, and industrial weldment parts.
Galvanized steel
Coated stock for flashings, closures, and components that need corrosion resistance without a secondary finish.
Architectural metals
Specialty finishes and gauges for visible commercial applications where the metal is part of the design, not hidden behind it.

Accurate Material Prep That Feeds Clean Forming
CNC Shearing Services
Good forming starts with accurately prepared material, and that is the role CNC shearing plays in our shop. Before a part hits the press brake, the stock has to be sized square and to dimension. Our CNC shearing produces clean, accurately sized blanks that feed directly into forming, so bends land where the drawing puts them. For parts that require profile cutting or intricate geometry rather than straight sizing, our CNC Laser Cutting and CNC Plasma Cutting services handle the work. Shearing here is about fast, accurate material prep that keeps the forming process clean.
Precision sheet metal shearing
square, accurately sized blanks cut to dimension for downstream forming and fabrication.
Material preparation
Stock-sized and squared, so the forming step starts from a known, accurate blank rather than correcting for it on the brake.
Production efficiency
Shearing keeps the forming line fed and moving, which keeps your lead time predictable.
Support for downstream fabrication
Sheared blanks move straight into bending, welding, and finishing, all under the same roof.

Architectural Sheet Metal Solutions
Architectural sheet metal is where precision brake metal earns its keep. These are the visible, field-critical components that have to look right and fit right, because they tie directly into the building envelope and the systems other trades install around them. Our press brake operators form architectural metal to the tolerances that commercial glazing contractors, roofers, and GCs build their schedules around.
